I m using on the job to manage my clients and invoices for the past few month , too bad it seem like pretty dead, not much of development happening since I got the application from one of the bundle sale. On the other side Bill Engine is one of the latest product from the Jumsoft company which been quite active after the launching of Mac App Store, their Money4 is one of the top sale of personal finance management application and I been using it for some time, that’s why I m quite confident on their products.

So What Bill Engine can do ? The slogan is ‘Your personal invoice generator’, which mean it can help you to generate invoice and manage any related info, for example you can design your invoice,  manage the project hours and generate the report on which invoice is still outstanding.

I have taken all the main feature screenshot as below.

You can switch between listing or grid view , the grid view with nice ui indicate invoice status

Project info with the standard feature include time tracking , the round icons on the right is the invoice history

This might be special for freelance but is good for some of the business , you can listing down all kind of products or service you have

Client listing page allow you to check on invoices / projects that related to this client fast, the listing also told you which client still haven't pay you

a nice invoice template designer, there are different fonts, color, shape to mix with and some default templates

Report Listing which allow you to filter the date range between different type of content include project, invoice , clients

Beside these main feature , there are some tiny feature which perfect your generating invoice experience including , multiple tax combination, syncing with iCal, multiple currency support and password security which allow you to lock the whole DB. The storage feature is the same like Money4 which is document based, which mean you can split your personal or multiple company invoice into individual document.

So far there are one important feature that I can’t find it on Bill Engine which I think they really need improve it is the import feature, currently they only allow you to import clients from your address book, I think they should provide csv import for clients and invoice , this will help for user who like to migrate from their old system.

1. Google Chrome for Mac – this has become my main browser once it release the mac edition, although I still having problem for some of the website , but it has been my default browser.

2. Xmind – The cross-platform mind map tools, combine with Dropbox , I can get access to all my mind map in different platform.

3. Textmate – One of the best code editor , although everyone seem like waiting for Textmate 2. This is the main text editor I use for all my coding, some time I will combine with Espresso file upload feature to do some fast code editing.

4. Sparrow – A rather new Gmail client for Mac , I using it to manage my Gmail account, the first launch was disappointed, but now day is getting better , is like Tweetie for email.

5. Skitch – I use Skitch to snap screenshot most of the time, Skitch allow you to capture and annotate the screen shot easily, most of the images I use on this blog are snap by Skitch, recently they just release Skitch pro which offer some enhance feature.

6. Evernote – A cross-platform notes services, It allow you to sync your notes across different platform. I access the services through the Evernote Mac Desktop version to keep track of my notes, ideas and blog post. Recently Evernote just upgrade the upload limit for both free and paid user.

7. Reeder – I bought the iPad version first and like the apps concept very much , Once I try the desktop beta version I become addicted on it , this is one of the best RSS Reader client that sync with Google Reader.

8. MAMP – OSX is come with Apache and PHP by default, but there is some configuration need is required before using it, MAMP is one of the recommend tools for web developer to set up a web development environment, it simplify the setup process and just one button click your web server is ready to use.

9. Alfred – A replacement tools for Quick Silver on my mac, I didn’t spend much time research on the power pack , but it is an easy to use launcher.

10. 1Password – You can find 1Password quite often on some of the mac apps bundle, but it doesn’t mean it is a cheap application, in fact it is a very useful application that allow you to safe keep most of your password, license key etc.

I must say it has been long time since I love a desktop RSS reader, but Reeder bring the wonderful iPad experience to desktop with more customization, I afraid I going to leave Feedly for Reeder.

My first impression after install finish Sparrow and launch , this is just like Tweetie , one of the famous twitter client that bought over by Twitter.

after playing around for a while, I would say it is very minimalist style email client, but it lack of priority inbox feature is really difficult to win the web user over. P/s some of my twitter mate mention that Sparrow taking up too much CPU cycle but the Sparrow team reply that they are trying to resolve this issue.

If you looking for a simple and stylish email client and haven’t get the priority inbox feature , give it a try on Sparrow.

Today the history is going to change, the latest bundle from Macbuzzer getting my Attention, I been eyeing some of the application within bundle for some time and I nearly buying some of these application too.My top 2 favourite from the bundle is Delibar and iDocument.  Delibar should be good for me to manage my pinboard bookmark, iDocument looks cool to manage my pdf file.Thoughts should be another piece of interesting application, might be become my idea banks.

Although I can’t recognise  all the applications , but i saw some of the famous applications on Indie Relief which includes  Flow, Instapaper , Mars Edit2 , Pukka etc, the famous twitter application on iPhone – Tweetie is on the list too.

There are another mac application sales for Haiti too at  Mac Bundle Box too , which they offer 6 application for $29 and 10%  donated to Haiti.

First panic is having 50% for Coda, Transmit , Candybar and Unison, i think the highlight and most value worth should be Coda (USD $49.50) – an all in one web development application that include ftp, editor,svn , css edit and etc ,  another highlight should be  Transmit (USD$14.50) – a wonderful FTP application, it even support amazon S3.

Since i got solved the puzzle , i only need to pay $31 for the bundle, which is quite a good deal, in case you don’t know little snapper for it’s own is already $39 and what you purchase part of it will be donate to charity and last you might be getting espresso which cost $79. I have bought the bundle this morning before it over the first 2500 bundles, in order to get the board game – Big Bang Board Games , i didn’t wait for getting more people to refer because i think the both referrer applicaiton doesn’t looks interesting.

One of the highest priority task for webbla’s developer should be syncing with social bookmark site, i believe more user will be using it if this feature is include, from the answer that i saw on macheist forum, it seem like this will be an upcoming feature. So i give webbla a try , export all my bookmark and import to webbla.

The first thing that impress me, it take a while to import my 750+ bookmark and it seem like it will test bookmark by bookmark, this is a good feature for you to filter out those bookmark that already become broken link.It seem like it going to take a while to sync all the bookmark , maybe i will come back with a more detail review after i get my hand dirty on this.
