There are so far 3 free mind mapping application that i know is able to run on Mac.
- Freemind - one of the famous open source mind mapping application that is free, it support multi platform include windows, linux and mac.
- MindNode - a mind mapping application that only run on Mac , there are free edition and pro edition which are around USD $15 only.
- XMind - a new comer of free mind mapping application market, it seem like they are changing business plan, from commercial application moving to open source application.
Mind mapping is one of the skill i been trying to learn, but yet to manage, i just hope these application can help me enjoy and understand more about mind mapping.

Yeah, Wrath of the Lich King release in singapore on friday, my brother queue for 2 hour in order to get the game and we kick start the new content on friday night.
So far the new content have some interesting factor, althought leveling is quite a boring process, that’s why i taking my time to play the game, so far only level 72 for now compare to some other ppl spend whole night didn’t sleep just to get on level 80.
I found this site - WOW Detox before the expansion launch , it seem like there are a lot of people addicted on wow until losing everything and glad that some of the people manage to quit it and moving to a better life. This act as a reminder to myself don’t get addicted please.

If you have a iphone/ipod touch and like to browse around app store but hate the way how app store organize, you will like this site - AppShopper
So why i recommend this site ? i would say this site have 2 major point to attaract you, first you can browse the application by type , be it Paid application or Free application, currently this feature is not longer available in app store, you can’t browser through free application only. The other killer feature is , it allow you to keep track application that having “price changes” feature.
How often you miss out some app store promotion ? some expensive application might be under promotion, some paid application might be free for limited time, with keep track the “price changes” feature combine with the application type filter ( Paid or Free ) , you wouldn’t miss out all these promotion any more.
take a look paid application that become free after price change, there might be some application that suit your need.

This use to be a problem for iphone/ipod touch user, when you connect your iphone/ipod touch to your iTunes, it will start backup your device’s data and it has been extreme slow process until firmware 2.0 release. After firmware 2.0 fixed this issue, recently my ipod touch start having the same problem again.
So after i google around and found this solution
Go into iTunes Edit/Preferences the last tab sync disable auto sync for all iPod and iPhones. This does not fix it it is just the first step do not stop here.
Next connect your iPhone to the computer. Once it shows up in iTunes go into the last tab Applications. Uncheck sync all apps. not Click apply. Now click sync. it will remove all the applications! After it is finished unplug the iPhone. I bet you will have at least one app still on the Iphone, maybe more. Hold any icon down until they jiggle. tap the x’s and delete all the remaing apps. You may notice after you delete each app that a little spinning circle is next to your 3G icon on the top right hand side. Let it finish spinning before you delete the next app.
Once you have deleted all the remaining apps (That had corrupt data that was causing your long back ups!) do a hard reset. To do this hold the sleep/wake button and the home button until the red slider appears at the top of the screen. Slide it over and the phone will power off. You will again notice the spinning circle. Once it finishes wait a few seconds and power the iPhone back on by pressing the sleep/wake button.
While it is booting back up go into iTunes again turn the auto sync back on! Now connect the iPhone to the computer, let it backup and sync. I bet you a million dollars it goes so fast you want to cry or laugh. Now after it finishes go back to the applications tab. Click sync apps again, but make sure you have the 2nd circle checked. This box is sync selected apps. Make sure all the boxes are unchecked! Now slowly begin adding apps back to the iPhone. I have done as many as 5 at a time. Check the boxes then click apply, then sync. It will backup then add the applications and sync all other information.

i have tested and it work, now my ipod touch speed back to normal, i guess cleaning up those corrupted application really help to speed up your backup processs.
