What to sync ?

I been spending lots of time to actually get everything organize, trying to apply the GTD in my life to make myself more productivity, thats the reason why am i looking for a good task management service recently, i will settle it with Remember The Milk and here come my second headache issue – Calendar.

Why i like web service is because basically as long as you have connection you can access your service but for sure there are some time you can’t find any connection, or you only able to get connection for a while , thats why sync/synchronization is very important.

The Holy Grail of Synchroinization this post give me lots of idea, too bad i can’t really get Schedule World working and putting all the egg in one basket seem danger. I visual my whole syncing with Gliffy

so what i have ?

Calendar

Work Calendar ( outlook ) – this will be my main calendar which include all my work related appointment
Other Calendar (outlook) – this will be multiple calendar on my google calendar, example like my web project calendar, my personal calendar which i don’t like to mix all in one

Bottleneck

Outlook XP on my working notebook – lots of plugin/software doesn’t work with this version and i can’t avoid since is pre-set by company
Multiple calendar seem like not support on both windows mobile and palm

Device

My notebook – running on Windows XP
My PC – running on Windows XP
My Phone – Treo 750v running on Windows Mobile
My PDA – Palm TX running on palm

Using Outlook as rss aggregator

Recently i start to using outlook, for my email ( change from thunderbird ), my calendar ( change from google calender) , my task ( change from using palm desktop tasks ) and sync with my palm, is a bit sad that there are not open source program out there which so powerful ..

so whats next i wish to use outlook to do ? as my rss aggregator, doing some research and i found all these freeware that works with outlook

Blogbot – the only freeware that integrate with bloglines, you can sync with your bloglines account, but once you sync, its consider read in bloglines.
RSS Popper
inclue – the one that come with firefox extension and allow you to read multimedia feed, example video blog
RSS Feeder Dot Net – a windows rss reader which can run either stand alone or integrate with outlook
Intravnews – the subscription management is powerful , plugin feature and you can just register to get the activation code

which is my choice ? Intravnews but too bad it can’t sync with bloglines.

Can I Sync with Palm Desktop and Outlook ?

Can I Sync with Palm Desktop and Outlook at 2 different system ? the answer is YES !

My setup is having Palm Desktop on my PC and having Outlook on my notebook, sync with my Palm TX without ( with little ) problem, sometime duplicated memo is appear ..

Just make sure you have tweak this part for solving the conflict
