I have decided to close this project! I m sorry to everyone that waiting it to reopen.

Actually i m planning to reopen , i been working on some setup and slowly adding back some of the feed recently but at the same time i m consider shall i continue this project ? i seem like losing some of my passion for this project. After all i m not really chinese blogger, is hard for me to follow what happen in chinese blogpshere.

What trigger me is yesterday – ” 27 already but still no big achievement “Â , i think i should really put my effort on some other thing. At the same time, some of friend that i know, already working hard for pushing the whole malaysia chinese blogsphere, i would like to wish them all the best !

Bloglah Reopen

I know i feel a bit sorry for not blogging “properly” for the past 2 week, the main reason is i spend most of my time on bloglah . Its still not 100% complete the renew process but the basic work is done.

I would say moving back from drupal to wordpress is a good choice, by rewrite one of the feed aggregator engine and using simplepie , it seem like solving some of my previous issue. Make use of simplepie caching feature, so far i m quite satisfy of the performance, not only i getting latest feed faster, when forcing the update, it won’t take a lot of time.

Oh another good plugin that i would like to recommend, Latest Post from each Cateogry , it solve the problem that i need to write custom script to pull latest result from each blog …

Yesterday i m reading PC3 Malaysia version , this is a so call malaysia chinese computer magazine, guess what i found ? yup Bloglah is mention in the magazine, althought just a small corner, but i feel very happy for it already ..

Bloglah – consider one of my quite sucessful recent project has just reopen.

Original i using wordpress with an aggregator plugin to startup this project, after 200++ blog been added, the whole project is a bit out of control , lots of feed is not fetched, lots of feature which i thinking to add in been limit by wordpress structure, it still a blogging system , not a content management system, what it can be done still has a limit.

So i give the latest drupal a try and see hows it goes, after a week testing, it seem like drupal can meet my requirement, compare to my current setting . its less overhead too. after the past few night working on it, all the feed been move to the new system and until now i just reliase how powerful drupal is ..

lots of customise can be done through drupal .. hmmmm maybe i can create a web games base on drupal ?
