Just Because of Time

Win2k Server Tips
Recently just upgrade my office server from win nt to win 2k ..
its totally new to me ( i also skip the win2k series for my desktop, i jump from win me to win xp )
so for this new OS .. , most of the time i will hang around in google or win 2k Online Documentation web site, just share with some of you guys some tips base on my exp

when you getting this error while you try to access other computer which under this win 2k server’s domain

The system cannot log you on due to the following error:
There is a time difference between the Client and Server.
Please try again or consult your system administrator.

this is what i found on the micro$oft site

CAUSE
This behavior can occur if the time or date is not synchronized between your computer and the domain to which you are attempting to log on. If the client computer’s time or date is not synchronized with the authenticating domain controller, Kerberos validation does not succeed.

Solution
Click Start, Run
Type in CMD and click OK
At the command prompt type something similar to the following:NET TIME /DOMAIN:name /SET

Wierd ar ? first time i noe the time will actually cause the problem …
