I been a long time “on & off” WOW player , I subscribe for few month and stop for few month , the last hardcore period I can remember is before I start to become a freelancer , I been very casual player after become a freelancer since I generate income by the time I invested on work , so can’t really spend too much time on entertainment like this.

So why did I join back recently ? that’s because end of last year , the latest expansion “Warlords of Draenor” is released , as an old-time WOW player, I really wish to join in and see what has been change, I even hold to start the game until December because I going to have a short break in December. It’s been an enjoyable journey for December , getting my character level up to cap and experience tons of new things that intro in this expansion, but after the short break, back to work, it become a burden to continue having this subscription yet can’t put in more effort and time on it.

Fast forward to today , lots of work and life event has been filling for my past few week , what I did in WOW is only daily garrision work , I guess is time to put it on a pause and focus on my work and real life, It’s been a good short 2 month time with WOW , I miss the old day , but for sure I can’t go back to play like the old day, maybe I will come back to you at the next December short break ?

So what this this Mobile Armory about ? it’s like a mini wow site in your iPhone, you can almost see everything that related to your characters. You can check on the calendar to see your raid date, you can play with talent calculator to customize some of the talent point, you can check news to see will the server go does or not tonight. Overall i feel that application is well implement, the only negative feedback will be you need connection in order to use this application, there always try to auth with WOW server when you launch the application.

A good example i just got my NobleGarden Archievement complete today and this is only the first day of this event , nope i didn’t spend the whole day on it, in fact i just spend 2~3 hour in the morning then follow up by some of my office work and continue agian in the evening. Other then this, i think this is my first lucky world event.

these are some of my tips

• Mulgore should be a good place to farm, compare to other starting zone.
• No need to change item once you have enough chocolate , some of the quest item might drop from the egg.
• You need total 365 chocolate , the amount will be reduce if you manage to get the quest item from the egg.
• It take 155 chocolate for me to complete , i get most of the item through the egg.

5 out of 9 ,  4 more quest to complete What A Long, Strange Trip It’s Been , now i m jaiku – The Nobel .

anyway when i reach lv 80 , i still got around 3~4 zone haven’t explore , this might be my next target, but if can i would try to reach this target more casually ( i m quite casual already ). My impression for this expansion is quite good, there are some of cool quest and there are some interesting story telling, i enjoy very much , i wonder when will my druid become lv 80 too ? maybe not so soon.

So far the new content have some interesting factor, althought leveling is quite a boring process, that’s why i taking my time to play the game, so far only level 72  for now compare to some other ppl spend whole night didn’t sleep just to get on level 80.

I found this site – WOW Detox before the expansion launch , it seem like there are a lot of people addicted on wow until losing everything and glad that some of the people manage to quit it and moving to a better life. This act as a reminder to myself don’t get addicted please.

If you didn’t play world of warcraft , you might not be able to catch some of the joke, i haven’t finish reading all but these are some of the “epic” joke.

– drop rate means how often the item drop ? normally it drop after you kill some of the monster in game

– rolled on , normally when a group of people form a party for questing dungeon, they will roll numbers to decide who can get the unique item, same theory as roll the dice, BOP means bind of pickup, some of item is BOP means after you pick up, you can’t pass it to other people to use.

Hey baby, shouldn’t your body be purple? Because it’s totally epic.

– in world of warcraft, epic weapon/armor is purple color, its almost consder the best item , other then the very rare legendary weapon.

If the faction is your love, I’d grind it all day and night

– there is faction reputation , to gain some of the faction special item , normally you to grind ( farming ) some of the dungeon or item.

Doing heroic mgt instance with some of the friend today, during the last boss 50% hp , the other 3 party member died, leave me and our healer – a restore druid, the best part is we forgot to kill the egg and the phoenix is respawn during Gravity Lapse,this is a quite bad situation

so i try to kill the phoenix , but this time the egg broken too slow, because you are swimming in the air, the phoenix respawn again , so i take the 3rd try and kill it , after that solo the boss all the way and manage to kill it. I m quite proud of it since it take quite a bit skill to complete this and the best it drop the robe i been farming for sometime , nice !
