I wonder will this causing lots of return iPad 2 with husband says no, grandpa says no , but i think this is one of the good marketing strategy and make you smile.Quite a few of married geek that I know has shared this in Facebook, I guess they wish their wife see it .

So why am I getting iPad ? It fit into one of the special slot of my daily usage , it can be my ebook reader , which allow me to read my pdf any place , it can be my social magazine too by using Flipboard , going through Facebook news and twitter’s tweets etc. It really become a netbook replacement for me.

Why am I getting iPhone 4 ? I been waiting for it since the first generation ,I never get the first generation because  it doesn’t have 3g, I didn’t get the iPhone 3g because the i m on contract , I didn’t get the iPhone 3GS because the batt life sucks and finally I got it after the long wait, it is the same feeling when I getting my first personal computer in 1997.

Beside all these latest news about iPod , what I want to share is something related to iPod history , the iPod time line. This is something official from Apple that indicate the every important release about iPod.

This remind me of the first t softcore porn app saga , We all thought that it is Apple ban the application , the actual fact is the developer’s website can’t handle the load and remove it from the App Store, because the apps is just serve as an interface , those sexy photo are still serve from the developer server. If you think that’s the only application that does this , you are wrong , try search “sexy” in your iTunes apps store and you can see how many apps out there are using the same content deliver model , which mean they change the photo they serve any time.

I believe that we might see the apps that connect to those “adult version of youtube” soon ? I wonder will the app store restrict by local law ?

these are the 5 lite version game that in my ipod touch , i haven’t decide which one to get but i think all these game are worth the value, the only one that i feel is a bit pricy will be the cooking mama, anyway is not easy to learn cooking , you pay a price for it.

It seem to me the new macbook is lighter ( from about the same weight drop to around 2kg) , the outlook is nicer ( i prefer this new design then the old school white, black is too expensive ) with some new technology on it ( the mouse without button is interesting) and last it come with a advance integrated graphic card ( i wonder can it run WOW ? )

hmmmmm this make me rethink shall i get a netbook ? or shall i save for this macbook ?

• They call me on 9am + in the morning and told me i can collect my keyboard already, the guy even remind me the shop open after 11am,  +1
• On time, i thought i can only collect on thursday or friday and maybe i even need to call them myself to check is it ready, but nope ! from the day i send until the day i collect , is total 3 day. +1
• This time when i reach the shop, they are using the number calling device ! yeah +1
• the service staff explain to me that it is 1 to 1 exchange , but they need to send my keyboard to apple in order to get a replacement one, thats the main reason why it take 3~5 biz day. +1
• the servie staff connect the keyboard and let me test it, when i have some doubt , he even explain to me why the keyboard behave like that. +1

overall this time i have a much better experience, kudos for today service staff !

24 inch 2.4Ghz or 20 inch 2.4Ghz ? one of the main reason i switch over to iMac is to have a bigger screen, but for this 2 model, the refurbished price different is about $400 , is enough for you to get another 22 inch LCD ( DELL ). On the other site the 24inch 2.8 Ghz Extreme is another killer , compare to retail price is nearly $1000 different , argh !

Not sure how many time i been stop the shopping check out page, but in the end i have decided to take the cheapest 20 inch, the extra $$ that i save should be able to use it in some other way , maybe get a ipod touch ?p/s anyone interested to buy the refurbished macbook pro from me ? the Geforce graphics card model , still got 6 month apple care.

So far i only manage to SSH to media temple, that is the only host i can SSH, not sure is that because their setting is different. So what happen is , after i type the command and try to SSH, it will take very long time for the VPS to respond and when i key in my password, the connection just close without any reason.

after search through a lots of solutions, this is the one that works on me.

the delay was caused by my local SSH client rying to look up Kerberos credentials

Edit /etc/ssh_config and add in these value

GSSAPIAuthentication no
GSSAPIKeyExchange no

no need to restart or what, just launch your terminal again and issue the SSH, after this changes apply , i m able to SSH in my VPS immediately , no waiting time and the same password i been try previously.
