Finally .. i m able to online at my jb home ..
after i move to sg for work, i have no chance to online at jb home, but just after i bought my new notebook,
the adsl modem at jb home was down .. lucky i still keep the warranty card and receipt. so i get my sis to change the modem for me.
so now i m on streamyx now, RM44 plan, althought most of the time this connection is not in use, but at least when i come there is connection for me to use and yeah i cannot stand the 56k speend … guess i been use to broadband already.

After getting my Gmail account ( thx Seth for the invite ), my first idea is backup my hotmail account email to Gmail. so i found this freeware GetMail.
Firstly i thought it can’t be use, but after getting some help from the web, there is 2 important thing to use this software.
1. you need to restart after install this software
2. mark all your email unread before you run this program
Gmail seem not bad to me, althought i still not familiar with the label feature, but it seem like don’t really support chinese email well ..

firstly thx to LCF again for the detail post about how to ping pps, now my blog will auto ping to pps, if you ask me why i wan to ping pps, i think its because of lonely ?
other then this finally my new d link wireless router is working, the tips its
1. cable modem connect to router should use cross cable
2. after connect modem and router, reset modem is a must to get a new ip
I finish transfer my hotmail email to my Gmail account too.
at the same time i m dling win XP service pack 2 for my notebook. what should i do next ?

Its been long time since my last movie ..
Today i was thinking to take a break, let my eye take a break from watching monitor …
so i actually have to choose a movie to watch, quite a few movie i want to watch recently, cat woman la, the village la .., but i pretty much want to watch Alien Vs Predator.
as a gaming fan, i did play b4 the same title game, this might be the main reason i watch this movie, same goes for tomb raider. I been heard some bad comment for this show b4 watching it, after the show basiclly i was thinking still not that bad la .. but not as good as i expect also ..
but this show did change the idea where ppl thinking predator should be quite strong while 1 vs 1 …
mmm 3 out of 5 star .. !

Singapore have 4 IT exhibiton, i went for The PC Show and IT Show , i thought this time i not going to buy anything so i not actually keep track for this IT exhibition at first.
But i can’t find my linksys router receipt which mean i cannot exchange a new router for my spoil router which also mean i need to get a new one .. sigh, after do some last minute research, i went to the comex show at suntec around 12pm.
base on my experince going to this kind of show have to be early, else later will be a lot of ppl come in ..
so i search high and low for linksys booth at first, because there is a 5 port swtich selling at SGD $29. after searching for a while the people is getting lots more, i decided to give up for that “starhuy” swtich and getting a wireless router. so i comparing linksys and d link this 2 brand, my target is a wireless G router with lan port. It seem like d link its slightly cheaper then linksys and have life time warranty.
so this is wat i get
the wireless G router which have a print port and a wireless G pc media card for my notebook ( since i change the office wireless to wireless G my smc wireless B pcmedia card cannot work in office any more so this new card can let me wireless in home and office ), this combo cost me $SGD145. there is another high end model which will cost me more and claim that it can reach 108MBps, but my wallet dun have so much bullet, so i just choose this combo which claim can reach 88MBps .. ( standard wireless G is 54 Mbps only )
other then this i also register the Hardware Zone membership for SGD$11 and i bought some CD-R for office use too ..
thats all for my comex trip i come out around 1+pm and seem lots of ppl is coming in ..

Ok, i admit i m lazy to think about title, so my life report sound ok for me ..
now is 6++ in the morning, i just finish bath and waiting for 7 am. Last nite after i finish some develop on the GUM, i feel tired and sleep, not even follow my original plan to blog, so i better fill in something now b4 i get bz ..
today will be a bz day for me, morning have to go for some sort of hotel, setup the projector for my company, because there is a training session later, then have to rush back to office, support the Taiwan MIS for some sort of testing, other then that canon guy will become to setup the printer… geez hope i wont fall in sleep in office.
i was having some chit chat with Lance yesterday, we are actually talking about hosting biz again, think i really have to start something soon, after paying so much for these month, mmmm have to check check hows the server price again and see see what other domain left ..
Comex is coming, at first i dun think i will spend $$ on this PC/IT Show, but who know my router spoil and i can’t find my receipt for the warranty, bah .. i wonder what will i buy tomorrow ? currently in my list

The Last day of the trip we went for shopping, because the flight is evening time, so we actually quite rushing.
othen then this everything quite smooth get back to hotel in time, and reach the air port without jam …
about 10pm reaching my home already, can only use one word to say “tired” …
but i do like bangkok after this trip and i even crazy for the thai song now… heheh

today will be the last nite in bangkok, so i was keep wondering where will we go tonite.
morning still the same routine for me during lunch time we went for sushi buffet in some opposite hotel - Emerald Hotel. 5 person for only 2k baht and there is a lot of thing to eat, i would say is quite cheap, i m the one who paying because they almost treat me dinner every night altot is using coporate card but i still feel that i should at least treat them one meal
so we went to carribean during the nite time, its a famous club, there is some pretty and young gal are dancing on top and there is some intersting show too, the one i like it very much its the bar tender show, woooo you can see the bar tender throw the bottle here and there ..
tonite drinking damn a lot.. we almost finish 2 bottle of whiskey.. and we get back to hotel around 2am ..
