Looking for Desktop Blogging Application ?

i did some testing last night, i try out 4 blogging application , Zoundry , w.bloggar , DotPost and Thingamablog on 3 different blogging script , drupal , wordpress and lifetype .

First thingamablog is out because i found that it actually more like a blog system, create the blog page and upload, no really what i need , what i need is a blog application that let you make a post to your current blog script.

W.bloggar and DotPost both are working quite ok, but w.bloggar seem like without any update for quite some time, DotPost seem like not so stable, i keep getting some error message. The final choice is Zoundry , it seem to me Zoundry is still quite new but it follow the wave of blogging, what make me choose Zoundry in stead of other

• tag support , quite a few tag system supported, you can just have the technorati tag on your post before you post it to your blog
• trackback support , it seem this important feature been ignore by most of the blogging application, but on zoundry this for sure is supported, tested on the 3 script, only having problem on lifetype, wordpress and drupal seem receive the trackback without any problem
• ping support – you allow to ping multiple site, example technorati, feedburner or ice rocket

you can ping to these blog service to inform your blog latest update 

 quite a number of tag system support , even include some image service tag system

another plus feature is that it seem zoundry release toolbar package to work closely with the blogging application, i don’t really interest to test this, but it should be a plus point to some other people, Oh don’t forget through Zoundry service, you can do review for some extra income ..
