Another IM ( instant messager ) is out, Meetro with the slogan "It Breaks The Ice" .. but as my entry title, it seem it still require some improvement.
so what Meetro about ? it support MSN, Yahoo, AIM and ICQ, you can import all these account to Meetro and chat with friends which on other IM paltform, but this sound so common, Gaim, Mirand and IM2 can do the same, some of these even able to support Google talk ( jabber protocol ) ..
From what i could see the attractive part of Meetro is allow you to search for other Meetro user which live near by you, you must input your current location ( example country, city bla bla bla ) then define max distance of meetro user that should appear. so all the meetro user which within the range will show on the program and you can even filter it by keyword ..
i testing by my current location and i m very lucky to found 1 user … sigh , this IM need a lot of userbase to get it success,this recall me long long time ago there is a similiar feature IM that appear on the market, but gone in one year time ..
Another thing that worth to mention is that, Meetro is tring to hook with blog, it release Mini-Meetro which allow your visitor to see a faceroll of meetro user that stay near by you .. good try but i just wonder how many people will put this ..
