So, why Flock is a social web browser ? i believe its because it integrated with social network service , it means nothing to you if you don’t know what is del.icio.us, flickr, blog.
i been invite for the beta test for Flock before, but i think i miss it that time and recently seem like a lot of people talking about it and it just happen that today it release as public beta, so here am i playing around with it
what is Flock ? in simple i would say its using mozilla browser as base plus some web service intergrated .. another word maybe is firefox with some web service extension ..but with all these web service attach, this browser is never the same browser again.
what it can do ?
- importing your del.icio.us bookmark
- when you add some site to bookmark at the same time to your del.icio.us with tag support
- get the feed of the site on the fly
- allow you to make a blog post, in fact this blog entries i post from flock
- when you make blog post, you can attach the photo from flickr
- shelf feature which allow you to grab any piece of text/image ( you can use it for your blog post also)
