I wish to talk about this issue since i saw this post, anyway Mr Kiasu’s blog is one of my latest favourite and he did give me quite a lot of encourage by comment, thx pal.
spent alot of money on my “friends” and at the end came home with a feeling of emptiness inside, this is almost my lifestyle when i young, some time when my birthday i even use it to help people matching .. other then that spending the time and money in disco, once of my birthday even drunk like shit in disco.
but those are the old day, after having my current gf, i less spending time on these silly thing already, but too bad due to study oversea and some reason we only celebrate my birthday together once only.
i do miss the old time when study in aus, the whole bunch of friend which study together, but after we come back from aus, each of us bz for working or some continue study, our friendship don’t seem as strong as last time. some of my old friend is worse, we only meet out for drinking or some events, no we wont call each other for asking “how are u” this kind of thing. Celebrate Birthday ? maybe you say you will buy them drink, then they will appear .. .. sigh

Yaloh, nowadays it about money nia. If you are an engineer, then all your friends must be at that level. If you are selling ais kacang, then your friend is an accountant. He won’t even want to pick up your phone call. Hai…
