I been planning a few setting/upgrade for my server 2 week ago, but because of bz wowing and work, until this 2 day i just got time to sit down and try on it ..
now i just know that mysql its been setup without password for the root user and surpizely lots of user seem like never change for it ( include me ) , changing password its not a big issue, but the big issue after changing the password i need to make sure my open source control panel (VHCS) still working, thats abit tricky but lucky there is a file which will auto update every part in VHCS , at first i can’t find this file, its because i instaled VHCS which is debian build , so its a bit different with the standard VHCS , the location of vhcs2-db-passwort is under ~/engine
other then this, VHCS release GUI upgrade too, basiclly is quite simple too, just change the current GUI to GUI_OLD then download the new GUI and upzip it .. oooh and need to chown it to www-data permission
other then this 2, i was trying to install webalizer, installed did success but no idea how to configure .. because i need it work with VHCS , sigh too little documentation on this ..
